Two weeks from concept brief to a fully branded bowl of goodness ready for launch? That was the challenge set for us by Compass Group. And we happily accepted! The brief was to create a brand concept to bring to market across multiple countries for the hospitality, restaurant, and self-service sector formats, and launch across the International Clients Programme with an initial trial in HSBC.
Leading the full creative development of the Balance Bowl, including all concept collateral and an implementation guide to help sites adapt alongside support materials.
We designed three variations of the theme, comprising the naming and logo identity, colour palette, typefaces and point-of-sale style. Once the team at Compass had chosen the preferred route of the Balance Bowl — a paleo-style meal containing grains, vegetables, healthy fats, proteins and greens — we went on to develop the creative theme and the concept collateral; awareness posters, editable menu posters for local customisation, explanatory placemats, nutritional ticketing and infographics. We also devised an implementation guide to help sites adapt their offer, plus material to support all three service formats; hospitality, restaurant and self-service.
